What Has Been Spotted Written On The Banners Carried By Delegates Attending Limuru 3 Conference

Photos circulating on social media show delegates already arriving at Jamuiya Center, where the Limuru 3 Conference is being hosted.

This conference is gathering delegates from the entire Mt. Kenya region.

From the shared photos, we’ve noted the messages on the banners that delegates are carrying as they make their way to the venue.

One banner reads: “Nakuru County Limuru-3. One man, one vote, one shilling.” It further states: “Say no to revenue wastages and unnecessary spending.”

Another banner from Nakuru County delegates attending this conference reads: “Give allowance/claim to the jobless Kenyans.” Additionally, it says: “Give free medical healthcare to all.”

The conference is being attended by several politicians from the Mt. Kenya region, who assert the need for a regional discussion on politics and governance.

Some notable leaders who have already appeared include Hon. Jeremiah Kioni, the Secretary General of the Jubilee Party, Hon. Martha Karua, and Hon. Nderitu Mureithi, the former governor of Laikipia County, among others.

The Limuru 3 conference is reported to have raised political tensions within the current ruling regime.

Some Mt. Kenya leaders in the Kenya Kwanza government, under the leadership of President William Ruto, have been allegedly mentioned as the financiers of this conference. However, the notable leaders championing it are from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition.
