How Aoko’s Revelations of How Nominated Treasury CS John Mbadi Sexually Exploited Her Cast Shadow On Mbadi’s Integrity

The recent nomination of John Mbadi as Treasury Cabinet Secretary has sparked a heated debate, with past allegations of exploitation and inappropriate behavior resurfacing.

Critics argue that these allegations render him unsuitable for a public office of such significance.

Aoko, a former employee of Standard Media Group, recently took to TikTok to clarify her controversial tweets from 2021 and address her ongoing issues with John Mbadi.

She accused him of failing to capitalize on opportunities during his tenure under President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration and of exploiting her financially and personally.

“Mbadi never took the opportunity he had when he worked for Uhuru’s regime as the government had money. Instead, he exploited me by paying me less and sleeping with me in the process,” Aoko alleged in her video.

Aoko’s revelations have raised serious questions about Mbadi’s integrity and ethics.

She detailed how Mbadi initially sought her out to manage his social media accounts while she was working with Standard Media Group in Migori.

“He enlisted me to manage his social media. Do you know that it is me, Aoko, who opened Mbadi’s Twitter account? Mbadi didn’t even know what a Twitter account was,” she explained.

Aoko further elaborated that the agreement for her services was for a payment of Ksh 20,000, which was considerably low, especially during the financial hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic.

She also revealed her struggles during this period, having dropped out of her Political Science studies at the University of Nairobi due to the pandemic’s impact.

“The agreement was Ksh 20,000. Imagine it was during the COVID season,” Aoko stated. “I had dropped out of school. I was pursuing Political Science at the University of Nairobi because, during COVID-19, who was surviving?”

These accusations had sparked significant controversy online, leading to the creation of the hashtag ‘Aoko must stop’ by displeased netizens on Twitter.

Many users criticized her for allegedly having relationships with politicians and then exposing them, arguing that her actions were unethical.

However, the more pressing issue remains whether John Mbadi is fit to serve as the Treasury CS.

The allegations of financial and personal exploitation, coupled with questions about his ethical conduct, have cast a shadow over his nomination.

Critics argue that someone with such a questionable track record should not be entrusted with overseeing the nation’s finances.

It remains to be seen how President William Ruto and other government officials will respond to these serious allegations.

The public alike will be closely watching to see whether the nomination will proceed or if these revelations will prompt a reconsideration of Mbadi’s suitability for the role.

The controversy highlights the importance of integrity and ethical behavior in public office.

The need for transparency and accountability in the nomination and appointment of public officials is more apparent than ever.

The outcome of this situation will be critical in shaping public trust in the government and its leaders.
