Uhuru Allies Expose Ruto’s Secret Plot To Finish Gachagua And Block Mt Kenya Ahead Of 2027 Elections

The Jubilee Party faction aligned with former President Uhuru Kenyatta have raised serious concerns about the relationship between President William Ruto and his Deputy, Rigathi Gachagua.

Vice Chairman David Murathe recently suggested that President Ruto is not supporting Gachagua’s political ambition.

During a meeting in Lamu, Murathe claimed that Ruto is quietly undermining Gachagua behind the scenes.

He pointed to appointments made by President Kenyatta, such as Nelson Dzuya to the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Board, as evidence of a rift between Ruto and Gachagua.

Murathe also mentioned that Ruto is engaging with Members of Parliament like Kanini Kega and Sabina Chege to prevent them from aligning with Gachagua.

He portrayed these actions as part of Ruto’s strategy to limit Gachagua’s political influence.

Murathe suggested that President Ruto is actively working to prevent Deputy Gachagua from forming his own political party.

According to Murathe, Ruto is aware of the legal requirements and is strategically removing officials aligned with Gachagua to undermine his deputy’s political influence.

This includes figures like Kanini Kega and Sabina Chege.

“Ruto is clever; he knows the law. He is looking for ways to get rid of the officials because they started aligning themselves politically with DP Gachagua, like Kanini and Sabina. Ruto cannot let DP Gachagua form his own party. So he is cutting him down to size,” Murathe claimed.

David Murathe, a close ally of Uhuru Kenyatta, also contended that the United Democratic Alliance’s (UDA) plan to have two additional deputy leaders alongside Rigathi Gachagua is a strategy to diminish Gachagua’s influence.

He explained that attempts to install figures like Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula as deputy party leaders are seen as a move to curtail Gachagua’s power.

Murathe suggested that the insistence on having only one deputy party leader, Rigathi Gachagua, is a reaction from the Mt Kenya region, asserting that efforts to reduce Gachagua’s influence are already underway within the party.

These allegations highlight the internal tensions and political maneuvers within Kenya’s ruling party.

The relationship between President Ruto and Deputy Gachagua will likely remain a focal point of discussion.

Whether these claims will have a lasting impact on their partnership or lead to significant changes within the party remains to be seen.
