“She wants to kill me and my son” The desperate cry that has put Esther Passaris in the spotlight

The political corridors of Nairobi have been shaken by a deeply disturbing family drama that places Women Representative Esther Passaris at the center of explosive allegations involving power, manipulation, and the very real fear of death.

The story, which emerged through social media and was amplified by Polo Kimani, paints a harrowing picture of a family torn apart by greed and paranoia, with the most vulnerable members crying out for salvation.

At the heart of this maelstrom is Zaharoula Passaris, Esther’s sister, who alongside her brother Stratos has made a desperate public plea for intervention, claiming that their lives hang in the balance.

Zaharoula Passaris, who suffers from a debilitating array of chronic illnesses including Lupus, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, spine disc problems, Vertigo, and Ulcers, alleges that her sister has used her political influence to systematically oppress her and her son.

According to Zaharoula, since last year, Esther, along with their mother and another sister described as a “weed peddler,” has locked her and her son out of the main family house in Nyali.

This is not merely a petty family squabble; Zaharoula claims they have been deprived of access to the kitchen and food, forcing her to prepare meals in the bathroom to survive.

Currently unemployed and unwell, she says she is unable to access her medication, a situation she finds particularly cruel given that Esther had promised their late father she would take care of Zaharoula’s medical needs.

The allegations take an even more sinister turn when it comes to law enforcement. Zaharoula claims that every time she has attempted to report the matter to the police, her statements have been mysteriously deleted from the Occurrence Books on Esther’s orders.

Her brother Stratos was recently arrested when he tried to gain access to their family home in Nyali, adding to the growing sense that the family is trapped in a web of power and intimidation from which there is no escape.

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of this unfolding saga concerns the death of their father, Eleftherios Passaris, a wealthy Greek businessman.

The inconsistencies surrounding his death are alarming and demand scrutiny. According to Zaharoula, their mother reportedly told her that he died of prostate cancer, while Esther claimed it was mercury poisoning.

Astonishingly, the death certificate, a document that should provide definitive answers, states the cause of death as pneumonia and COVID-19.

Zaharoula insists she spent extensive time with her father during his final days and that he never contracted COVID-19, leaving her deeply suspicious about who or what truly killed him.

This confusion over official documents raises serious questions that demand a thorough investigation

.At the core of this family feud appears to be the unresolved issue of their father’s estate. Zaharoula and Stratos are demanding that their father’s will be read, claiming that Esther has been deliberately obstructive for five years.

They allege that documents were quickly signed by Esther’s lawyer in their absence, suggesting a possible manipulation of the legal process.

Zaharoula believes the only thinkable reason for Esther’s cruelty, even after promising their father she would care for Zaharoula’s medication, is jealousy.

She claims she was undeniably her father’s most preferred child and resembled him, a fact that apparently irks Esther immensely.

The family members who refuse to “worship” Esther, as Zaharoula puts it, face her wrath.

Zaharoula, her son, and her brother remain oppressed and terrified, appealing to human rights organizations and authorities for urgent intervention.

“Help me, she wants to kill me and my son,” is the chilling cry from a sister who feels trapped, betrayed, and abandoned by the very system that should protect her.

This is not just a family dispute; it is a scandal that casts a dark shadow over political power and the terrible price of family betrayal.

The allegations of abuse of power, tampering with police records, and suspicious circumstances surrounding a death certificate are matters of grave public concern that authorities cannot afford to ignore.

The silence from Esther Passaris’s office must be broken, and the people of Nairobi, and indeed all Kenyans, deserve to know the truth behind these shocking claims.
