Maverick Aoko has once again raised fresh and controversial claims involving two senior government officials. In her usual unfiltered style, she took to X and accused Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo of having a secret affair with Devolution Principal Secretary Teresia Mbaika.
According to Aoko, this relationship has been going on for some time and involves private meetings in hotels. She gave one specific example, claiming that on a Sunday in Makueni County, the two had planned to link up at Kitui Villa Hotel, which she says is owned by Makau Mutua. But things didn’t go as planned. Aoko alleges that Mbaika’s husband showed up at the church event they were attending, bringing along their children, and this surprise appearance disrupted the secret meeting.
Aoko didn’t hold back in her words. In one of her most shared posts, she wrote, “PS Raymond Omollo is fucking Devolution PS Mbaika. I’m tired of whispering.” She claimed that she had this information for a while but chose to remain silent to avoid creating tension, especially as a Luo woman speaking about another Luo.
She also connected her frustrations to her political past, saying she campaigned for President William Ruto in 2022 and now regrets it, adding that Omollo was among those who blocked her from getting a government job despite her efforts.
These claims have not been confirmed by any independent sources. Neither Omollo nor Mbaika has publicly responded, leaving the public to debate based solely on Aoko’s word.
This isn’t the first time Aoko has made such serious claims. She has a history of posting allegations against public figures, which has led to her facing legal trouble, including cyber harassment charges. In 2024, she was arrested and later released on bail for a post she made about a woman named Beth Wambui Mbuitu. Her account has also been deactivated in the past following public outcry, and there was even a time she went missing.
Despite her legal battles and the controversy around her methods, Aoko continues to gain attention with her bold posts. Some people praise her for exposing what they see as corruption and immorality in government, while others criticize her for making serious accusations without providing solid evidence.
Her recent claims have divided opinions again, with some users on X applauding her bravery and others questioning her credibility given her past.
