Azziad Nasenya, who rose to fame as a TikTok dancer and later as a radio host, now finds herself at the center of serious financial trouble that threatens to expose a side of her she has tried hard to keep hidden.
News has emerged that her luxurious home in Kileleshwa will be auctioned after she failed to service a KSh 25 million mortgage. For someone who has built an image of glamor and success on social media, the development points to cracks in the lifestyle she has been showcasing to her followers.
The house in question is located at Platinum Oak Residency, a high-end property sitting along Oloitoktok Road in Lavington. It is a spacious 4-bedroom apartment complete with a servants’ quarter, measuring 256 square meters. Despite its current occupation, the property has already been earmarked for public auction on October 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with the sale taking place at the Jeevan Bharati Building in Nairobi. The gazette notice leaves no doubt that the bank has lost patience with her repayment struggles and wants to recover its money.
Auctioneers from Okuku Agencies, who have been tasked with the sale, have already outlined strict conditions. A buyer must pay a 10% deposit immediately when the hammer falls and clear the balance within 90 days. In addition, anyone interested must deposit KSh 100,000 in advance to be allowed to bid. These conditions show the seriousness of the matter and underline the fact that Azziad’s home is officially out of her hands unless she can raise the required funds before the set date.
Property experts have also pointed out that similar apartments in the same area, such as Ravi Apartments, go for between KSh 24.5 million and KSh 29.5 million. That range highlights just how prime the property is, making its loss a huge blow to her image and financial standing. What makes the situation worse is that this news comes only weeks after allegations surfaced that Azziad had borrowed money from friends and failed to pay them back. The reports claimed she had developed a habit of living beyond her means, using loans and borrowed cash to fund her public image while leaving unpaid debts behind.
The looming auction paints a very different picture of the influencer who has been celebrated for her fast rise from an ordinary TikTok dancer to one of Kenya’s most recognized media personalities. It also raises questions about the sustainability of her lifestyle and whether fame has blinded her from the harsh realities of financial responsibility.
The fact that the bank has already moved to auction her property shows that she has exhausted all chances of negotiation. Unless she makes an immediate turnaround, Azziad will lose the home she once proudly flaunted, and with it, the image of stability she has been trying to sell to her audience.
This moment could very well expose her as another influencer trapped in the illusion of luxury that social media can no longer protect.
