A disturbing moment on TikTok has shaken the nation after a young street boy known as Kevin made a shocking confession during a Livestream with Nairobi Chief Officer for Environment, Geoffrey Mosiria.
What started as a simple street conversation about the aftermath of the June 25 protests quickly turned into something deeply unsettling. Kevin, looking frightened and nervous, suddenly interrupted Mosiria and confessed that he was paid to move dead bodies after the protests.
“Mi nilihesabu… zilikuwa 32. Nilisaidia kuzibeba hadi City mortuary. Wakatulipa, wakatuambia tusiseme kitu,” he said, his voice filled with fear.
He claimed he personally helped carry 32 dead bodies to the City Mortuary and that they were paid and warned not to speak about it. As soon as those words were said, the Livestream started gaining huge attention, with thousands of Kenyans joining in to watch and comment in real-time.
But just as Mosiria tried to follow up on Kevin’s shocking claim, the Livestream was suddenly cut short.
The sudden end of the video only raised more suspicion, and in a short time, screenshots and recordings of the moment started spreading across social media platforms like X, Telegram, and WhatsApp. Hashtags such as #32Bodies, #KevinTheWitness, and #MortuaryConfession have since gone viral, showing how serious and widespread the concern has become.

Geoffrey Mosiria has not spoken publicly since the Livestream ended, and efforts to contact him have not been successful. The National Police Service has also remained completely silent about the matter.
This silence from both Mosiria and the police has only made things worse, with many Kenyans now believing that something is being hidden.
Human rights organisations and activists are now demanding immediate action. Many of them say Kevin’s confession could be proof of a much bigger cover-up related to the deaths during the June 25 protests.
One Nairobi-based activist said that if Kevin’s statement is true, then this is not just a tragedy but a serious crime against the people of Kenya.
