Raymond Omollo, the Interior Principal Secretary, is now at the center of a disturbing political plot in Luo Nyanza that reeks of betrayal and manipulation.
Despite being appointed by President William Ruto to help bridge national unity, Omollo has turned his back on his own people and is allegedly running a shadowy intimidation campaign targeting Luo leaders who dare speak against the government.
Instead of using his office to protect citizens and uphold the Constitution, Omollo appears to be using state power to suppress opposition voices in a region historically aligned with Raila Odinga.
His actions paint the picture of a man more interested in power than service an opportunist who is weaponizing fear to score political points.
It is on X that Cyprian Is Nyakundi shared these shocking claims, bringing attention to what many in Luo Nyanza have been whispering behind closed doors.
According to the revelations Nyakundi shared, Omollo is behind coordinated efforts to silence critical Luo leaders. The aim seems to be simple and sinister, threaten them into silence and make it look like Luo Nyanza is warming up to Ruto.
This is not just betrayal, it is political fraud, orchestrated by a man who owes his career to the same community he’s now undermining.

Omollo’s goal is as clear as it is shameful. He is desperately trying to win Raila Odinga’s favor, positioning himself as the heir to Luo leadership while crushing everyone else who questions Ruto’s regime.
This isn’t loyalty it’s calculated disloyalty. Omollo is playing both sides, pretending to serve Ruto while using state machinery to manipulate Luo politics from the inside.
And the silence from Raila only makes the situation worse. Whether deliberate or not, it gives room for Omollo to parade as a legitimate political player in a space he is actively destabilizing.
No physical attacks have been documented yet, but the psychological warfare is real. Luo leaders are being threatened, undermined, and publicly discredited for refusing to toe Ruto’s line.
And who benefits? Raymond Omollo. He is treating the Interior docket like his personal campaign office, enforcing political loyalty through fear.
This is not what a public servant should be doing. This is the behavior of a political thug in a suit.Raymond Omollo must be called out for what he is, a state-backed enforcer operating under the guise of development and unity.
He is not building bridges he is burning them behind him while walking towards political power. Luo Nyanza is not for sale, and it is certainly not Omollo’s playground to experiment with cheap political games.
His actions have exposed a deeper rot in how Ruto’s administration is trying to penetrate opposition zones through threats, manipulation, and betrayal.
Omollo should resign. He cannot continue leading the ministry responsible for internal security while actively destabilizing his own community.
Luo Nyanza deserves better than a power-hungry puppet who uses threats to climb the ladder. If no one else will say it, then it must be said now Raymond Omollo is the enemy within.
