Ole Ntutu and PS Nixon Korir among officials who allegedly conned Kenyans In SGR scandal

Permanent Secretary Nixon Korir is now facing serious questions over his role in the Sh2.7 billion Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) compensation scandal. This scandal, which also involves MP Ole Ntutu, has shocked Kenyans who are demanding full accountability.

The money was supposed to help people who lost their land to make way for the SGR project. Instead, many of those affected say they got little or no payment at all.

This betrayal has sparked national anger and raised fresh concerns about corruption in President Ruto’s administration. Many of the victims say they trusted the government to pay them fairly after their land was taken.

But according to reports, some were given as little as Sh2,000, while others never received a single cent. Families have been left struggling, and their hopes for fair compensation have turned into pain and frustration.

The worst part is that people in powerful positions, like Nixon Korir, are being accused of taking part in stealing this money. This has raised serious doubts about his credibility and ethics as a top government official.

Nation Africa reports that 184 landowners, represented by lawyer Prof. PLO Lumumba, have now filed a case in the High Court. They want the court to force those responsible to return the stolen billions.

This report has added fuel to the fire, with many Kenyans demanding that Nixon Korir and others be held accountable. The case has caused public outrage and is now being viewed as a major test for the justice system.

If people like Korir can walk free after such serious claims, then it sends a dangerous message to all Kenyans.

Nixon Korir, once seen as a promising young leader, now finds himself in the middle of a scandal that has destroyed the lives of ordinary people. His role in this alleged fraud must not be downplayed.

The victims believe he played a key part in misusing the compensation money. For someone holding a powerful position, this is more than just corruption it is a betrayal of public trust. People expected Korir to serve with honesty, not to benefit from the suffering of others.

Ntutu is also under fire. Elected under the UDA party in 2022, his name now stands for greed instead of service.

The fact that this scandal touches people close to the ruling party makes it even more suspicious. It raises serious questions about whether the government is protecting its own instead of punishing the guilty.

Corruption in the SGR project is not new. In the past, officials from Kenya Railways and the National Land Commission were caught in fake land payment scandals.

Yet it seems that nothing has changed. The same theft, the same cover-ups, and the same silence from those in power. This ongoing fraud has robbed many innocent Kenyans of their homes, dignity, and future.

As the court prepares to hear the case, Kenyans are watching closely. They want justice. They want their money returned. And they want people like Nixon Korir exposed and punished. No more hiding behind titles and connections.

The public has had enough. This scandal must not be swept under the rug like so many others. The billions stolen must be recovered, and those responsible must pay the price.
