A disturbing child trafficking network has been exposed in Nakuru County, raising serious concerns about the safety of children and the integrity of the judicial system.
A whistleblower has revealed shocking details of a syndicate allegedly using falsified documents and judicial manipulation to smuggle children out of the country.
Cyprian Is Nyakundi received this information from a source directly involved in the unfolding case.
The issue came to light when a man, while trying to file a case to gain access to his children, stumbled upon an existing legal action filed by a stranger named Jacinta Moraa.
This individual had allegedly created an e-filing account within the judiciary on June 20, 2024, using dubious documents.
She concealed her identity by operating without an ID, phone number, email address, or any traceable place of work.
This suspicious activity immediately raised concerns.
Central to the scandal is the involvement of a purported advocate named Sella Koome, who does not appear in the official records of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Evidence provided by the whistleblower includes forged signatures and falsified affidavits of service associated with this fictitious advocate.
These documents were allegedly used to obtain court orders in favor of Jacinta Moraa Moenga, a woman described as a stranger to the claimant.
The whistleblower further alleges that the network involves at least nine advocates who employ various tactics such as falsified affidavits and phone numbers tied to untraceable entities.
The group reportedly used existing cases to introduce new motions and sought temporary legal orders to legitimize their illegal actions.
When their initial attempts to conceal the case failed, they allegedly added a child upkeep claim to further obscure their activities.
This matter has been reported to the Nakuru Central Police Station under OB NO 17/21/10/24.
Lawyer Paul Ichingwa has objected to the temporary orders issued by the magistrate, and the case is set for mention on February 13, 2025.
According to the whistleblower, this operation is a well-organized crime involving litigants with substantial financial resources who use kickbacks to manipulate the judicial process and undermine the rule of law.
The whistleblower also revealed that similar misconduct has occurred in other cases in Nakuru courts.
For instance, the County Government of Nakuru fell victim to a similar scheme in a case involving War Memorial Hospital, where the culprits were eventually charged in court.
However, in the current case, the accused individuals, including Jacinta Moraa and the fictitious advocate Sella Koome, remain at large and continue to manipulate the justice system.
This exposé highlights the urgent need for action to dismantle such networks operating within Nakuru courts.
The public must remain vigilant, and the authorities must act swiftly to ensure the protection of children and the integrity of the legal system.
Cyprian Is Nyakundi has shared this information to shed light on the rampant injustices occurring in Nakuru and to call for accountability from those responsible.
