Robert Alai Exposes Millions Former Presidential Candidate Received From Government

Robert Alai, a Kileleshwa MCA, has made stunning claims regarding businessman Jimmy Wanjigi, alleging that he received a substantial sum from the government.

According to Alai, Wanjigi was paid a staggering total of KES 176,354,692.90 and USD 4,155,169.03 under the ACEG-CATIC-Greenfield arbitration.

This payment, totaling approximately Ksh 650 million, was supposedly made as part of a settlement related to the Greenfield Terminal project.

This allegations comes Amid Jimmy Wanjigi being vocal and critic of government of President Williams Ruto.

Jimmy Wanjigi through an X Space that was hosted days back was saying that we need to send the whole government home and the country’s debt is odious and people should resist paying.

Through his interviews on local media channels like spice fm he has always said that the country debt is odious and people should avoid paying them.

Alai further asserts that instead of utilizing this money for constructive purposes, Wanjigi is allegedly using it to fund activities aimed at destabilizing the very government that facilitated the payment.

The Greenfield Terminal (GFT) arbitration, which concluded with the significant financial settlement to Wanjigi, has now become a focal point of controversy.

Alai’s claims imply a misuse of public funds and raise questions about Wanjigi’s intentions with the substantial sum received.

As these allegations circulate, they contribute to ongoing discussions about transparency in government transactions and the responsibilities associated with large financial settlements.

Wanjigi has yet to publicly respond to these accusations, leaving the public and political observers to ponder the implications of Alai’s claims on both his business dealings and political activities.
