Speaker Moses Wetangula Speaks Minutes After Meeting Grassroot Leaders From Cherangany

Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetangula, took to his official Twitter page to share insights from his recent engagement with grassroots leaders from Cherangany Constituency.

The meeting, held at the residence of area MP Hon. Patrick Simiyu, marked a significant moment in fostering local leadership and community development.

“This morning, I convened a meeting with grassroots leaders from Cherangany Constituency at the home of the area MP, Hon. Patrick Simiyu, and later addressed a public meeting at Sinoko Market,” Wetangula tweeted.

The grassroots leaders praised Hon. Simiyu, a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), for his decision to collaborate with Wetangula. They emphasized that this partnership is crucial for advancing development, fostering unity within the Mulembe nation, and enhancing access to government opportunities for their electorate.

Wetangula urged the constituents to rally behind Hon. Simiyu, highlighting his exceptional qualities. “I called on the people to support Hon. Simiyu, highlighting his brilliance, respect, honesty, and vision,” Wetangula said.

His endorsement of Simiyu is a clear signal of his confidence in the MP’s leadership and potential to drive positive change in the region.

During his address at Sinoko Market, Wetangula stressed the importance of unity among leaders and community members.

He pointed out that the cohesion demonstrated by the Western MPs Caucus is a testament to the power of solidarity in achieving the political, economic, and social aspirations of the Mulembe nation. “Unity is essential for the Mulembe nation to achieve its political, economic, and social goals,” Wetangula noted.

This meeting and subsequent public address underscore Wetangula’s commitment to grassroots engagement and his vision for a united and progressive Mulembe nation.

By advocating for collaboration and mutual support among leaders, Wetangula aims to build a stronger, more cohesive community that can effectively leverage government resources and opportunities for the benefit of its people.
