Kenyan entertainer MC Gogo has opened up about his experiences with older women in Nairobi aggressively pursuing much younger men like himself.

In a recent interview, MC Gogo shared several anecdotes that shed light on this phenomenon.

“There was one woman who came up to me and said ‘let’s finish things here and then go back to my place’,” MC Gogo recounted. “I was really surprised by her forwardness.” He explained that older women in Nairobi often make bold, direct advances on younger men, leaving little room for subtlety or traditional courtship.

This behavior seems to be on the rise, with MC Gogo noting “the older women here in Nairobi just don’t rest.” He said they are constantly on the prowl, persistently trying to force younger men into relationships. “They really chase after the young guys,” he said.

MC Gogo theorized that some of this may be driven by a shortage of available older men, as women in Nairobi tend to outlive their male counterparts. “Maybe it’s because there are not enough older men to go around,” he speculated.

Whatever the root causes, the end result is that young men like MC Gogo find themselves fending off repeated, unrelenting advances.

While the attention from older women may be flattering to some, MC Gogo made it clear that the behavior can also be uncomfortable and unsolicited.

“I was really surprised” by the woman’s forwardness, he said.
